Newforma expands reach into Asia Pacific

They say you can tell a lot about a person by what kind of golfer they are. Well, I guess we have a winner in Emmanuel Samuel, the newest member of the Newforma team and someone who shot an amazing 90 at Pebble Beach! We are excited to have Emmanuel join Newforma as senior director of business development for the Asia Pacific region based in our new Singapore office.

Emmanuel is no stranger to business development bringing more than 20 years of experience in IT business development as well as sales and marketing, with particular strength in the AEC market. He is excited about joining Newforma and the opportunities available in APAC.

According to Emmanuel, "APAC countries represent some of the fastest growing construction economies in the world today. Project teams no longer view transparent communication and collaboration as nice to have, it's required, and Newforma's PIM solution is a perfect fit."

Prior to joining Newforma, Emmanuel was VP of business consulting and sales operations for AspenTech's APAC region. He's also held various management positions driving sales and market growth in APAC for Autodesk, IBM, Datastream and IPC Corporation.

When not working, Emmanuel enjoys golfing, soccer, tennis, reading, traveling and is a history buff. He hopes to one day travel the world and visit Machu Picchu in Peru and the South Pole but for now his favorite countries are Japan, US, Mediterranean Europe and Mediterranean Middle Eastern countries. One of his most memorable holidays was two weeks spent driving in California and Nevada. And as for a personal achievement, he's particularly proud of the fact that he's turning his daughter into a golfer.
